Saturday afternoon the 'varsity crew squad went skating on the upper Charles, near Dedham. This form of exercise was a substitute for the accustomed long walk which the squad takes twice a week. There seems to be in the policy of the 'varsity crew coaches an obvious attempt to make the winter training as diverting and agreeable as possible.
