Hockey answers the requirements of a major sport in every point, and failure to recognize it as such at Princeton means not only that we will lag behind the procession of other universities but that our representatives in that sport will be severely handicapped in intercollegiate competition. We feel that the sentiment of the University, if once aroused, is overwhelmingly in favor of granting it its proper place among the major sports.
