...that the athletic committee have somewhat modified their recent strictures on foot ball, we shall be able to play the long anticipated Thanksgiving game. ...team from the University of Michigan with which the Harvard eleven is to play this afternoon is said to have an exceptionally strong rush line, although in kicking and general play the team is somewhat weak. The Chronicle claims that it is a better eleven than that of two year's ago. between which and the famous Harvard eleven of '82 there was so close a contest on the Boston grounds, as will be remembered by many. We shall certainly expect to see a well contested game this afternoon...
