...Series and serials. For 40 years or so, movie theaters lured the kids with Saturday matinees, often featuring a thrillingly primitive 12- or 15-chapter serial. TCM revived the tradition earlier this year by showing two 1930s Zorro serials, a few chapters each week. They've also opened the vaults to show B-movies detective series from the '40s: Sherlock Holmes, the Crime Doctor, the Whistler and the Lone Wolf sleuth again...
...wedding weekend, re-wounding his old inamorata (Jennifer Garner) while causing about as much domestic havoc as Anne Hathaway did in Rachel Getting Married, and with the same low entertainment payoff. This alpha dog is a baaad Connor; Scrooge-like, he must be visited by three spirits who will show him the error of his ways...
...fans can imagine for a second that he will settle down with them as he does at the end of his movies with Lopez or Hudson or Parker or Garner. But he'll have to leave them to woo the co-star of his next project. That's show business. That's romance, Matthew McConaughey-style...

Neither can FlyBy...we doubt you'll find more than one or two in the room who can even tell you the difference between place and show (those are names for finishing 2nd and 3rd, respectively). Don't worry about that part...the announcer will harp about odds here and there, but the race will be the event. One quick tidbit though: there's already been a ton of intrigue when this morning, race favorite I Want Revenge was pulled...
