About one hundred candidates for the track team began winter gymnasium work yesterday. Four squads were formed and for an hour each one took light exercise with chest-weights and dumb-bells. The men hurdled for a short time and then ran three laps on the board track. After this work has continued for a week, the sprinters, hurdlers, long and high-jumpers and weight men will be placed in a separate squads and each squad will practice in its special branch.
