...especial interest, as it has not been presented in Boston for twenty years. The production is characterized by the same thoroughness in every detail which has made these revivals so enjoyable. The piece is given a beautiful stage setting, and the cast includes all the Museum favorites. Miss Sheridan and Mr. Wilson were especially pleasing, while Miss Clarke, Miss O'Leary and Mr. Mason all contributed much to the enjoyment of the presentation. The comedy will be presented until Thursday when "The Rivals" will be revived...

...does not furnish much tribute to Mr. Mason and a flat part got a flat rendering from Mr. Boniface. Miss Annie M. Clarke did not act well enough to make Peg Woffington affecting. but fully well enough to make her amusing. Peg, no doubt was a little low. Miss Sheridan as Mabel Vane is a little out of the aim of criticism. It is hard to say just what a country girl should do. Mabel is no doubt very lovable, but Miss Sheridan in the picture scene is certainly awkward. It is perhaps unjust to criticise so much a play...

...museum. It deserves to rank high among the old English comedies which are being produced at that theatre. Miss Clark as Lady Gay Spanker, Mr. Pitt as Sir Harconet Courtly, and Mr. Wilson as Mark Meddle were admirable. The charming character of Grace Hathaway was adequately taken by Miss Sheridan, whose marked talent is familiar to theatre goers. The same play will be given again tomorrow...
