Dartmouth failed to gain by rushing and was forced to kick. A bad pass of Dean's was recovered by Corbett and Cumrock without serious loss. The ball soon went to Dartmouth, however, and it was only through the good tackling of Trafford and Cumrock that serious loss was prevented.
