Hovey, L. S., then played Wrenn, '92 in the semi-finals. The first set was closely contested, with both men playing at their best. Hovey finally won, 6-3. Hovey played his net game the second set, while Wrenn stayed back. The result was the set at 6-0 for Hovey.
