LAST June we spoke of the great need of a Professor of Hygiene, at Harvard, and advocated Dr. Sargent, of New York, for the position. We now take great pleasure in announcing the appointment of that gentleman. Dr. Sargent is a graduate of Bowdoin and of the Yale Medical School, and is widely known for his success in curing disease by "gymnastic treatment."
