...Intercollegiate Golf Association tournament held at the Apawamis Club of Rye, N. Y., September 13 to 15, the University golf team was runner-up, being defeated by Yale only after a hard struggle. In the preliminary matches Harvard won decisive victories over Pennsylvania and Williams by defeating the former 8 to 1 and the latter 7 to 2. Yale in the meantime defeated Princeton, who had in turn won from Dartmouth. The final match resulted in a victory for Yale, 6 to 3.
