During the first part of the game Harvard's play was exceedingly loose, fumbling the ball being the rule rather than the exception and there is no excuse for the quarter's passing the ball back into space. The men had the same tendency, to leave their places before the ball was snapped back, as they have shown in practice for the last few days, and consequently several times the signals had to be changed.
