...executive committee of the Engineering Society has planned a series of public lectures to begin after the mid-years and extend through the year. One lecture will be given each month by some speaker well known in the scientific world. Mr. Clemens Herschel, of New York, will lecture on Roman Acqueducts in the latter part of February. In the latter part of March Francis B. Crocker, professor of electrical engineering in Columbia College, and inventor of the Crocker-Wheeler motor, will speak.
