Yesterday afternoon the crews took their final practice on the Charles. A large procession, headed by the band, formed in the Yard, and, marching down to the river, gathered on the bank beside the boat house to cheer the men. ...final decision has been reached regarding the fence which will be built along the river front of Soldiers Field. The pillars are to be of brick and stone and the rest of wrought iron, resembling closely the fence along North Harvard street. When completed the fence will be 5000 feet in length.
