...last night took place in Sever Hall. In spite of the cold weather and the meetings of several other societies on the same evening, the meeting was one of the most successful the Union has had. The question was: "Resolved, That co-education is desirable at Harvard." The regular disputants were, on the affirmative, Messrs. Firman and Mclnnes; and on the negative, Messrs. Thayer and Fuller. ...Varsity Crew is doing some good work on the weights in the Gymnasium, and under its able captain is getting into fair shape, considering the number of new men which compose it. It seems a pity, however, that there is no regular coach to direct it, as the next four or five weeks before the river is open are especially important, and an efficient trainer could do much towards improving them.
