Nearly half of the tables at Memorial were occupied, and at night the college dormitories were not at all sparsely illuminated. Also the Cambridge and Charles River roads, for vacation, did a thriving business. The windows in the dormitories had their semi-annual washing, so that it will be some weeks before the "early-rising rosy fingered dawn" will see into the college rooms and disturb the sleepers.
