Seventeen new tennis courts are in process of construction inside the oval of the new track on Soldiers Field. The ground has already been opened and pipes laid for drainage, but cinders are scarce at present in Cambridge and the plans cannot be carried out till more of these are secured to make a thick enough foundation for the top layer of clay.
