...dinner to the crew of '81 was given at the St. James Hotel, last Friday evening. About forty gentlemen were present. Mr. Trenholm presided, and, in fact, was the only officer, the dinner being purely an informal one. The health of the crew was drunk with Highland honors, and was followed by twenty-seven cheers. Mr. Hammond and Mr. Brandegee responded. Congratulations were exchanged on the past, and hopes expressed for the future.
