McVey played well at third base making one pretty stop. Hall and Walker were both tried at first base. Walker is poor on high balls but is better on pick-ups than Hall. They are about equal in batting. The outfield play a good fielding game but are weak at the bat with the exception of Chandler who plays right field...

...infield Winslow and Stevenson put up the best games. The fielding of the former was very good, but he does not seem to know what to do when he reaches a base. This fault is noticeable with the whole nine, and by careless base-running and poor coaching to men on bases many good chances for scoring are lost.
