...water in the Big Tree Pool was churned yesterday afternoon by twenty Freshman swimmers in the annual inter-dormitory meet. The Smith Hall natators, more numerous and more skilled, carried off the honors with 53 points, their nearest rivals being the McKinlock team, which totalled eight points. ...Wednesday, April 2, the first of the annual Red Cross life-saving tests will be held in the new pool, it was announced yesterday by R. B. Muir, swimming instructor. These tests, which aid in preparing men for positions as counsellors at summer camps, will require ten hours, and will be given by Muir on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
