The occasion of this assembly was a private reception given to his friends, that they might visit his art rooms (The Cluny). Mr. Rich has brought from France the art of bronzing plaster casts, and he had arranged in his rooms, with admirable taste, statues, busts, vases, etc., exhibiting the beauty of the preparation.
