Until the plans for the proposed widening of Bow street are definitely settled nothing will be done towards the enlarging of Westmorly. Much of the Westmorly land now lies directly in the path of the proposed improvements, including that part selected as the site of the new addition. Several improvements are being made on Soldiers Field, which when completed will greatly improve both its appearance and its condition. A new cinder path 14 feet wide and about a mile long will encircle almost the entire field; and a path will also be built from the Newell Gate to the other side of the grounds.
