...That position, responds Dr. Karen Loeb Lifford, a Boston Ob-Gyn who serves as medical director for Planned Parenthood in Massachusetts, "sounds incredibly reasonable. Who can disagree with parents making health decisions for their children? But take a closer look at that argument: it's denying the vaccine to many people who won't have access to it unless it's mandatory." Many parents might not know to ask for it, or be able to afford it. "If it's available in theory but it costs $375, its not available to everybody. If it's only effective before women have...

Coulter unearths 25 years of public statements by abortion-rights supporters who stipulated that, as a Planned Parenthood official said in 1978, "Strictly speaking, no one is for abortion... The women’s center as currently envisioned contains little more than office and meeting space. These offices would house a director of the center, whose job it would be to coordinate the resources and the support available to women on campus. The meeting spaces could be used...

Casey in 1992, state efforts to require that fathers be notified before women have abortions were struck down by the Supreme Court as placing too great a burden on women. A majority of Americans approve of spousal notification, provided there are exceptions for women in abusive situations, and when he was an appeals court judge Sam Alito upheld such a provision. But the Supreme Court ruled in Casey that "it cannot be claimed that...
