Leadership of the "Christian" groups, if not their rank & file, is largely Irish Catholic. Among numerous Catholic priests who have been disturbed by the participation of Catholics in these groups is Rev. Paul B. Ward, Paulist father, editor of Wisdom (monthly Paulist organ).
