...Freshmen rowed in the same order as yesterday and were sent over the two-mile course for their first hard row since coming to New London. The University and Freshman four-oar crews were sent over the course for the first time together. The Freshmen were given two lengths at the start and finished a length ahead of the University four-oar. Shortly before dark the Yale university crew passed Red Top, going over a mile course in fine form.
