...ONE night last week a Sophomore was spending the evening at the rooms of some lady friends. After delaying his departure as long as good manners would permit, he confessed his fear of being "gobbled" by the "Fresh." His fair friends agreed to accompany him back to his room. Accordingly, with three "high-school gum-drops" as his escort, he sallied forth; and so did the "Fresh"; and the result was that the "Soph" was pumped.
