...flaws. The album seems to belong as much to Theodore Unit (Ghostface’s posse, which includes his 17-year-old son Sun God) as to the man himself. Unfortunately, none of his apprentices can approach his level of skill, although Sun God does manage to sound older than dad. Ghostface doesn’t even appear in “Gotta Hold On,” a track that seems somewhat out of place on the album both rhythmically and lyrically. There is also a “Back Like That” remix featuring Kanye West...
...There?s a bit of set-up?you have to teach the system what DVD player you have?but once you do, the remote will work just fine. Cooler still is the fact that the controller has two faces, a chunky, button-based one for babies 9 months or older, and another one, with a joystick, for toddlers 2 years and up. You just flip it over when your kid grows up, hence the ?grow-with-me? name. (Obviously, it?s just as useful if you already have one or more kids in both age groups.) The videos are surprisingly...
...Leave aside the immense challenge to policymakers and politicians of balancing the needs of old and young, of old and older. The experts this week release their report about educating children for the 21st century; but today's children may live into the 22nd. The company has also said it will remodel at least 40 older stores by the end of 2007. But Robin Lewis, a retail consultant and newsletter publisher in New York City, says Kohl's will grow sales faster than Penney because its corporate structure is less bureaucratic and layered. "Kohl's has an advantage because it is leaner and meaner," says Lewis...
...into any newly remodeled JCPenney and behold a spiffy new map at the door to ease your shopping and a customer-service desk right at the entrance. Clothes are neatly grouped by lifestyle, trendy denim in one spot, work outfits in another. And they're labeled clearly, unlike in older stores. In early fall, Penney even sponsored the MTV Video Music Awards, running a series of live ads during the broadcast. It's a fairly radical move, given the store's uncool heritage...
