Rosengarten brought the ball five yards nearer Harvard's goal. But here Harvard took a brace, and held two old-fashioned wedge plays on the spot. On the third down the ball was fumbled, and Shaw fell on it only eight yards from the goal line. Harvard's first move was a punt, the ball advancing to Harvard's 40 yard line.
