Throughout the meeting of the executive council of the American Federation of Labor last week, a pronounced trend toward conservatism was to be noticed. Mr. Tobin, Treasurer of the A. From the point of view of execution, Mr. Morrison's "Primitive Thoughts on Education" is the outstanding contribution. And its thought, while not by any means new, is always worthy of consideration.
