...There is something more than a little unsettling in the notion that while the U.S. rains down hellfire on Afghanistan and prepares its meanest fighters to go in and terminate bin Laden, he is holding long-distance press conferences. It certainly raises questions about the idea that the Al Qaeda leader is on the run, or under fire, or skulking in a cave somewhere in the war zone.
