Usage:

Comenius was born on March 28, 1592, and was one of the greatest educational reformers that ever lived. Though living and writing in the seventeenth century, he was possessed with nineteenth century ideas and some of the forms which he sought to introduce into the schools of his time, are still urged by progressive educators, though only recently finding favor and adoption.
