Died. Francis Charles MacDonald, 77, poet, traveler, professor emeritus (since 1936) of Princeton University; after a long illness; in White Plains, N.Y. In 1905 Woodrow Wilson made him one of the first instructors in the now famed preceptorial system. Known as "Mr. Mac" to his undergraduate friends, he befriended and spurred countless Princetonians.
