...following men will represent Harvard at eh Inter collegiate Athletic Meeting at New York, on Saturday next, May 24th. The list is a very complete one, men being entered for every event on the program. Among those who were unable to run on Saturday is Goodwinand Johnson, who was indisposed at the time. There is a reserve nine at Dartmouth with which the regular nine plays for practice. The last issue of the Dartmouth prints a carefully prepared list of the records, both fielding and batting, of the twenty-six men who have played in these practice games...

...this kind are expensive, and at the end of the second year the books in the library obtained by direct purchase will have cost $2500. Of this sum the committee voted from its funds $2000." A list of the theses which were presented by six of the seven members of the school during the first year, is given, together with the names of the successful candidates.
