...deserves to be handed down to each succeeding freshman class. Too often in the past these meetings have been characterized by the wildest confusion, and the elections have in consequence been reduced to the level of drawings in a lottery. By the method of yesterday, however, something like order was assured, and the freshmen were thus allowed to use at least some degree of discretion in their proceedings.
