Unlike the rest of its order, it seems to come before the world with an honest literary purpose, and not merely to scoff and to cheer. Bishop John H. Vincent's latest Chautauqua project is a "Hall of Christ." The hall is to contain a room where the life of Christ can be studied. A library containing only lives of Christ by various authors, and a gallery containing paintings and engravings illustrating scenes in the life of Christ will take up the remaining space in the building...
