While in college, Mr. Lamont was President of the CRIMSON and took a prominent part in many other undergraduate activities. Upon graduation he became a reporter on the New York Tribune and later secretary and treasurer of the Bankers' Trust Company. Mr. Lamont has been a member of the firm of J. P. Morgan and Company since 1911 and is now director of many large companies and corporations. He is also owner of the New York Evening Post and a trustee of Phillips Exeter Academy and Smith College, while lately he has been joint chairman of the Harvard Endowment Fund...

...Lamont will arrive in Boston from New York late next Sunday afternoon in order to be in Cambridge to conduct the chapel service on Monday morning. A great part of his day Monday will be given over to the Board of Overseers meeting, including a luncheon of the Board in the Union at 1 o'clock,--the latter a lately established custom.
