Here's the plot so far: three years ago, Melrose Place fanatic Ken Hart, a regular guy (though he claims he was reared by mountain goats at the Bronx Zoo), was living in Boston, when a co-worker and co-fan moaned that she had missed the previous night's episode. Faster than you can say "Courtney Thorne-Smith," Hart whipped off an E-mail recap of the episode, which he "spiced up a little" with his own wry commentary. His first recap was so well received that he did it again the next week and the week after that...
Cases in point: Ken Griffey, Jr. and Bernie Williams, the junior circuit's centerfield heirs to the throne. Griffey, who managed 56 home runs and 147 RBI, could only squeak out two hits and a .133 batting average against the Birds. And his vaunted gold glove came up a bit short when Roberto Alomar, predictably enough, welcomed Bobby Ayala from the chamber-of-horrors Seattle bullpen with a shot to the centerfield wall that Junior couldn't quite handle...
...Brady Anderson in center, Alex Rodriguez at short, Frank Thomas at first, Mike Piazza behind the plate, Jay Buhner in right, Ken Caminiti at third, Craig Biggio at second, Barry Bonds in left and Roger Clemens on the mound.
