The author points out that 13 per cent. of the captains of University baseball, football, and crew prior to 1905 are mentioned in Who's Who. and that this is slightly higher than the number of Phi Beta Kappa members so recorded for the same period. The author modestly admits that this does not prove very much. It certainly lacks a good deal of proving that athletes generally succeed better than scholars.
