Anna Layng was convincing as Mrs. Kent, in the first act, but the change from a country church organist to a "night blooming Sirius" seemed a little overdrawn even for a farce. Walter Gilbert did his usual fine job with the leading part, and the supporting cast played well. A very entertaining play, with plenty of laughs...
