Work on repairing the north entry of Thayer Hall has consisted thus far in cleaning up the exterior of the building, removing the debris from the interior, and preparing the halls and such rooms as were most severally injured by the fire for plastering. No attempt will be made to install any improvements over the former condition of the entry. The rooms will be ready for occupancy when College opens in September...
About 12.30 o'clock Saturday morning four men, all of whom are probably members of the University broke into Phillips Brooks House through one of the rear windows, forced the lock of one of the doors in the interior of the building, and carried away with them the bronze memorial tablet to Bishop Brooks which was there on exhibition.
