Benjamin Banneker reputedly built the first clock made in the U. S., published a series of almanacs. President Thomas Jefferson sent one of his tracts to the French philosopher Condorcet to back up the Jefferson defense of Negro intellect...
Definitely the Premier is for work in the basic sense : "We have in France today an overproduction of intellect which is as severe and more dangerous than our overproduction of farm goods or of manufactures. It is time to put an end to this! We must cut short the development of an intellectual proletariat-a social plague which results from granting diplomas without any reference to the need. ... I was the simple rhetorical type he refers to above, whereas Frankfurter was an intimate logical machine, all his powers concentrated in a keen intellect that solved problems in higher mathematics that no other man in our class could solve. I should not be surprised if the N.R.A. and the whole government setup were planned by Frankfurter. The whole complicated system is right in his line...
