...Houghton, Miffin and Co. have just published a book entitled "Horalian Echoes. Translations of the Odes of Horace" by John Osborne Sargent. The book is finely bound in white with the lettering of the title in gold. Mr. Sargent was a graduate of Harvard in the class of 1830 and was at the time and has been ever since a very dear friend of Oliver Wendell Homes who has written a brief introduction for the book. The qualities of the author, as reflected in his book, cannot be better described than in Dr. Holmes' own words...
