Another intersectional match of interest is the Army-Notre Dame game. Both elevens are weaker than last year and the result is doubtful. Two teams, hitherto unbeaten this year, will clash today, Pittsburg opposing Washington and Jefferson. To those remaining in Cambridge, the Dartmouth-Penn, game is of greatest interest. Dartmouth should have no trouble in downing the unusually weak Penn. eleven. Today is an open date for most of the western conference teams. Chicago goes out of its field to play the strong Haskell Indians, while Ohio State and Iowa face Indiana and Purdue respectively...

...Haughton through policy, however, is developing the conservative way which hitherto has been so effective with Crimson teams. Although yet in the primary stage of development, the men seemed to have grasped important rudiments of the game which promise the building of a strong machine. Playing on a muddy field and with a slippery ball, Harvard did not make a single fumble Saturday, a fact which is particularly encouraging when reports from New Haven state that Yale's defeat was brought about by fatal blunders in handling the ball. But in addition there will be a reception, a concert, a buffet supper, and a dance,--surely enough to attract even those who hitherto have taken no pleasure in listening to men's choruses. The occasion will be both educative and enjoyable. Everything will take place in and around the Freshman dormitories; and the Freshmen may invite their families and their friends...
