The sale so far has not been large and this fact has been a distinct disappointment to those in charge of the arrangements. Sophomore dinners, which, now that 1900 has followed the example of '99, seem likely to become of annual occurrence, experience has now shown can be useful in two ways. In the first place they can of course, as Junior dinners have accomplished hitherto, increase fellow feeling and that a year earlier than of yore. In the second place they can afford an opportunity of judging in what way a subsequent Junior dinner may be made an unqualified success. Beginning with yesterday afternoon the band will hold a series of rehearsals preparatory to playing at the Yale and Princeton baseball games, and probably at the track games with Yale on May 14.
