Yale's greatest weakness lies in the high-jump and broad-jump. Landon, the Olympic high-jump champion, has graduated, as has Cowles, the broad-jumper. Coach Mack's best men for the latter event seem to be Feldman and Milliken, who though able to secure only third place in last year's Freshman meet, has improved considerably since then...
Coach Farrell tested out a large proportion of his field event men yesterday afternoon with informal competitions in the hammer-throw, broad-jump, and high-jump. As had been anticipated Captain Brown again won an easy victory in throwing the hammer with L. K. Marshall '22 and H. S. Grew Jr. '24 his closest competitors. In the high-jump, however, J. M. The entire squad will practice within the Stadium for the first time this year. The running events were held on the Stadium track on Friday, but today is the first time that the ground conditions at the bowl end of the field...

Wansker '23 was second in the trial heat of the 70-yard dash, but failed to place in the fastest semi-final of the day. The one consolation for the Crimson came in the afternoon when Brown hurled the 35-1b. weight 47 ft., 11 in., winning the event by over four and a half feet from...
