...noon yesterday the new Freshman shell, constructed by Sims and Sons, of Putney, England arrived at Weld Boathouse. The new craft, given by L. E. Herrick '97, was ordered by Freshman Coach Bert Haines during his trip to England last summer. He remained there for several months supervising its construction. Encased in its protecting black cover, the English-made boat is now resting on the racks of the boathouse in anticipation of the coming practice...
