...poor play of Brown was Clarke. He supported Gunderson as well as could be desired, and threw to bases beautifully, catching three Harvard men napping. Harvard played a good game with the exception of the third inning, when they went badly to pieces. Smith pitched a good game, and Henshaw caught him finely, and threw to bases well. He also led the nine in batting with an average of 1.000, making a hit for every time at bat. The features of the game was the catching of Henshaw and Clarke, and the terrific batting of Henshaw, Phillips and Willard...
