Yesterday the first University basket ball practice of the year was held in the Gymnasium. In the absence of head coach E. L. Burnham, '07, H. R. Snyder acted as coach. After a short preliminary practice the University team line up against the second team for a short scrimmage. In the first half the second team played a fast game and led with the score of 8 to 6, but the University team braced in the second half and won with the score of 15 to 10. The game was very spirited, and the defensive work was exceptionally good...
