The weather conditions were not favorable owing to the strong wind blowing across the field but the times made were very good on the whole. The handicapping was excellent, scratch men winning in four events. Owing to the darkness coming on so early three events had to be postponed. It is handicap and riders are given liberal time allowances, and it is hoped that a large number of new men will come out.
