...Association have voted to hold a freshman athletic meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 24. The events to be contested will be 100 yards dash, 220 yards dash, 1-4 mile run, 1-2 mile run, 1 mile run, 120 yards hurdle race, 1 mile walk, putting the shot, throwing the hammer, pole vaulting, running high jump, running broad jump. It is hoped that the new track will be in condition before the 24th, but if such should not be the case the meeting will still be held, probably on the old track on Jarvis field.
