Coach Farrell tested out a large proportion of his field event men yesterday afternoon with informal competitions in the hammer-throw, broad-jump, and high-jump. As had been anticipated Captain Brown again won an easy victory in throwing the hammer with L. K. Marshall '22 and H. S. Grew Jr. '24 his closest competitors. In the high-jump, however, J. M. Greely '25 caused surprise by defeating Malcolm Morse '24, one of the few University entries to score in the recent Intercollegiate meet in New York at the end of the winter track season.
